YESOD
OUR YESOD PROGRAM
Tailored Support & Caring Relationships
Yesod is a specialized education program designed specifically for students with reading and language delays, meeting each child at their unique point of need within a small class setting. At the core of Yesod is our devoted teaching staff, who build strong, personal relationships with every child so they feel known, valued, and understood. Working closely with specialized therapists, our teachers seamlessly integrate Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech Therapy, Counseling, and Social Skills classes to support every student's academic, social, and emotional growth.

Multisensory Curriculum & Differentiated Reading
We utilize multisensory and multimodal approaches across all subjects to match how each student learns best. During ELA, instruction is fully differentiated utilizing PAF—an Orton-Gillingham-based, multisensory program focused on explicit decoding, spelling, and handwriting—alongside Reading Fundamentals for deeper comprehension. Guided readers, digital tools, and daily support from our reading specialist ensure strong, steady academic progress for every child.
Building Confidence, Inclusion & Community
At the heart of the Yesod program is a commitment to developing student confidence, self-advocacy, and strong abilities. As an integral part of our unified school community, Yesod students join their mainstream peers for Art, Gym, Music, recess, lunch, assemblies, and grade-wide presentations. Supported by trusting relationships with their teachers and peers alike, students build meaningful, lasting friendships and a genuine sense of belonging across the entire school.
